Longshot sprang to his feet. He went to Hana first because there was a lot more work to get her out of the swing than Aiden out of the Excer-saucer. He stopped the swing, unbuckled her, and scooped her and her Glowworm up in one arm. Once she was settled safely, he stepped across the room to Aiden. He wiggled his eyebrows at his son and deftly picked him and his Glowworm up.

Then it was off to the races!

Longshot ran up the stairs. Smoothly because he did not want to jostle the babies too much, but with as much speed as possible.
