She reached over and adjusted the volume. "Now, I believe in your time, most heartbeats aren't heart until around the ninth or tenth week. Though that's not a restriction to the 24th century."

She slowly set the wand as close to Alison as possible without touching. "And... there's four heartbeats..."

She looked a little bemused but pointed to two pairs of pulsating spots. "There's the heartbeats. They're beating a little fast, but it's hard work turning into embryos."
