Distractedly eating was still eating. He waited until she was done with that piece of food then started on the next. He wanted both of them to have energy for more than snuggling later. He wasn't sure if three was the magic number or not. But it was better than two.

Also, snuggling was good! She didn't need to be distracted by feeding him if she kept up the snuggles. Even as shifted a little against him.

He reminded himself to wait until the food was gone. Crunched crackers were hard to get out of the futon couch.
