"Well, we'll have to find something that's easy to make, then." She kissed his cheek again and then turned to look in the fridge, too. Hmmm.

"Lean over." She grinned at him. When he did, she started reaching for small things they could eat while watching television. In the end, she came up with some cheddar slices, ham, crackers, and a closed container that had the cannoli she'd made from the leftover filling.

If they were still hungry later, she could always cook.
