The need in her moan made Longshot's body shift into position, whether he knew it or not. And it was a good bet that he wasn't aware of exactly what his body was doing. Alison's fingers were digging into his shoulder in the best of ways. He fought with himself to take his mouth away from her breast.

It only happened after his hand on her breast set down into the bed beside her. He pulled his other hand out from between her legs and brought it up to balance himself as he nipped up to her neck then to below her ear.

The only part of his body touching hers at that very moment was his lips. He kissed her ear lobe before shifting ever so slightly to get his mouth right next to her ear.

"If you want me," he growled softly, "take me!"
