Alison wrapped her arms around him and settled her head on his shoulder, looking down at the candy hearts.

"I have to confess that I had help with these. Something Miyuki said gave me the idea for the cannoli filling and she helped me in the kitchen."

She lifted her head enough to kiss his cheek softly and then rested it on his shoulder again. "Two hearts for your two hearts. And two because I love you twice as much as anyone else in the world." She grinned.
